National Recognition for Our Future City!

We are very pleased to be able to share with you that Our Future City has been recognised as an ‘important example’ of a Cultural Education Partnership as part of Arts Council England’s National Portfolio 2018-22 launch.

It is great to see that our work together is attracting attention nationally and we would like to thank all our partners and everyone who has taken part in the Our Future City conversation, development days, co-development workshops, events and projects to date.

The statement within the ‘Children and Young People National Portfolio Narrative’ says:‘There are now approximately 70 Local Cultural Education Partnerships; some are fully established, others are still developing. One important example of a functioning partnership is Our Future City in Brighton. It has a 10-year vision for the city’s children and young people that encourages young people to be creative as well as working in partnership to improve their health and wellbeing, and supporting routes into employment’.
