ARTSWORK ESSENTIALS PACKAGE

Standard rate: £395

You pay: £250

Combining three essential courses for safe working practices when working with children and young people, the 'Artswork Essentials' package is jam packed with up to the minute legislative information, tools for inclusive practice and creative approaches to promoting wellbeing. You will attend three seperate days of training, covering three different essentials for working with children and young people: Prevent, Equality & Diversity, and Child Protection & Safeguarding.

NAVIGATING THE CHANGING EDUCATIONAL LANDSCAPE

Standard rate: £150

You pay: £90

This workshop aims to support arts and cultural organisations and practitioners to develop and build partnerships with schools. The day will focus on recent changes in the formal education sector, and leave you equipped to build on and develop your offering for both primary and secondary schools.

What are the 'Artswork Essentials'?

Artswork are keen to support your professional development as a youth arts, culture or education professional working in the South East. They have designed an essentials package to equip you with fundamental knowledge around policy and practice when working with children and young people. Whether you work in focused youth groups or community outreach contexts, Artswork have designed this package to leave you feeling confident and well-informed on current, relevant legislation.

The Artswork Essentials package is comprised of three seperate courses which can be booked individually at your subsidised rate of £90 instead of £150. All three courses will take place at Cockpit Arts in London from 10am - 4:15pm.  For full course details please see links below:

PREVENT

Enhanced safeguarding training for anyone working in the arts and cultural sectors with children and young people. It includes a full update on the Prevent Duty and the part that you play in its delivery.
